Arrive

The Journey, this time

Rest. Reflect. Reconnect. Continue. Seven days created for Black women ready to invest in themselves — personally and professionally.

November 13–20, 2027 aboard Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady, departing Los Angeles for the Mexican Riviera. Adults-only, with a private balcony accommodation as your own retreat.

BWELL leadership experiences take place on sea days and selected evenings. Port days belong to you — explore independently, book an excursion, visit the beach, or rest.

Rest is information. Self-awareness is a leadership practice. Resilience should not require self-abandonment.

Your Journey experience

The rhythm of this Journey

Facilitated experiences, restoration and open time — in the order you will meet them.

  1. Before you sail

    Pre-Journey preparation

Travel checklist, welcome materials and a preparation session in My BWELL.

  2. Day 1 · Arrive + connect

    BWELL Welcome Experience

Board, settle in, and meet the women you are travelling with.

  3. Sea day · Discover

    Know Your Wiring

What self-awareness reveals about your burnout pattern — behavioral style, motivation and emotional intelligence, led by Davina Ware.

  4. Throughout · Restore

    Rest + Restoration Series

Yoga, sound healing and guided mindfulness with Cornelius Jones Jr. Movement without performance; restoration without having to earn it.

  5. Port days · Explore + enjoy

Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta

Explore independently, book an excursion, visit the beach, or rest. Optional group excursions may be offered.

  6. Anytime · Go deeper

    Private 1:1 Breakthrough Coaching

Scheduled whenever suits you during the sailing, with Davina Ware. What pattern keeps following me? Where am I overextending? What do I actually want next?

  7. Sea day · Go deeper

The Cost of Carrying It All

Leadership, burnout and the pattern of overfunctioning — the first arc of the CONTINUE™ Framework with Dr. Thenera Bailey: clarity, ownership, naming, truth.

  8. Days 6–7 · Reflect + integrate

Return to Self: Choosing What You Will Continue

The second arc of the CONTINUE™ Framework — integrity, nurture, uncertainty, evolve. Not 'how do I go back?' but 'how do I want to return?'

  9. Across the week · Connect

Welcome reception, curated dinners, sips + sunsets

Two curated group dinners, informal connection, new friendships — and unscheduled time on your own to enjoy.

Reflect

Somewhere between the second workshop and the horizon, the noise drops and your own thinking gets loud enough to hear.

Questions

Frequently asked

Why would I join BWELL Journey at Sea instead of simply booking this cruise myself?
Because the cruise is the setting, not the Journey. You could book the sailing. You could not book the facilitated leadership arc — Know Your Wiring, The Cost of Carrying It All, and Return to Self — a private 1:1 Breakthrough Coaching session, the Rest + Restoration Series, curated group experiences with women doing the same work, and a Return-to-Self Plan you leave holding. The week is curated so your rest and your development stop competing.
Is the price per person or per cabin?
Per cabin. One cabin holds a maximum of two guests, and the cabin price is the same whether you sail alone or with a companion.
What is the deposit?
$500 per cabin. Your cabin is reserved and your cabin rate is locked only once that deposit successfully completes — starting a registration does not hold a cabin.
How do payments work after the deposit?
Flexibly. Pay a suggested amount, a custom amount, or your full remaining balance whenever you like, as long as the balance is settled by June 30, 2027.
Is there a single-occupancy price?
A single-occupancy rate has not been set. The cabin price applies whether one or two guests sail; if a single rate is introduced, it will be published here.
When does the price increase?
$3,000 per cabin through December 31, 2026. $3,200 per cabin from January 1 through March 31, 2027. $3,400 per cabin beginning April 1, 2027. The rate that applies when your $500 deposit completes is the rate you keep.
Do I have to attend everything?
No. There is no packed agenda and no expectation to attend something every hour. Port days belong entirely to you, and BWELL experiences are held on sea days and selected evenings.
Can I bring someone who is not doing the BWELL programming?
Yes. Your cabin accommodates up to two guests at the same cabin rate. BWELL programming is included for both guests, and it is entirely fine for a companion to enjoy the sailing instead.
